30th Sonic

The myth, the legend, the only hog man enough to keep going. Sonic the Hedgehog.

His shoes were definitely inspired by the Soap Shoes in his Sonic Adventure 2 appearance. I modernized them just a little bit, but made sure to add in a couple sensible elements like a Lightspeed Shoes element and a neat little emerald motif in the soles of the shoes.

I also wanted to press just a little realism, so I borrowed also some creative elements from the live-action movie design. The wild styling of the quills is intended to present an incredibly forceful windswept look.

Beyond that, it’s just Sonic. Unmistakeable. Undeniable. Untamable.
