30th Shadow

The edgiest hedgy.

Shadow followed similar design notes to Sonic in terms of staying true to the representation given in SA2, as well as spicing in a little realism vie the movie’s design direction.

A couple items of note for my own design:

First was to make Shadow distinctly more muscular, as much as could make sense anyway. For all that Sonic and Shadow seem to be matched as rival type characters, I understand there to be a very clear divide in their levels of base raw strength. All Hail Shadow.

The shoes were an element that I kind of got lost in because of an overall fascination with the mechanical. In my own mind, Shadow’s shoes register to me more as elaborate prosthetics than as simple shoes. As an artificial life form, room for such an interpretation exists, I believe.
